Blue Jays Coming to Kelowna
Posted in Featured, SportsThe Kelowna Falcons are proud to welcome the Toronto Blue Jays to Kelowna and Elks Stadium July 9-11, 2012 part of their Honda Super Camps.
Be a part of the #1 baseball camp in Canada! The Toronto Blue Jays are partnering with Baseball Canada to bring amateur players, Blue Jays Honda Super Camps! These three-day camps offer children ages 10-16 – of all abilities – the ultimate Major League experience. Former Blue Jay greats Lloyd Moseby, Rance Mulliniks, Kelowna native Paul Spoljaric, Homer Bush, Sandy Alomar and 1993 World Series Champion Duane Ward are schedule to be in Kelowna.
A number of Falcons from the 2012 roster will also be assisting at the Honda Super Camp.
“We are excited and honoured to be working with the Blue Jays,” says Falcons General Manager Mark Nonis. “This is a wonderful opportunity for baseball fans of all ages to see some of the best players ever to play for Canada’s team. And for the kids participating in the camp, it’s an unbelievable opportunity to learn.”
Following the camp each day, the Falcons will host the Klamath Falls Gems at Elks Stadium.
