The UBC Okanagan Heat women's volleyball team capture the school's first ever Canada West playoff victory, beating the University of Brandon Bobcats in three straight set, (25-19, 25-20, 25-12) on Thursday. Megan Festival and Brianna Beamish both finished with 12 kills, Beamish adding 11 digs while Lenai Schmidt added 10 digs. Emily Oxland added a match-high 32 assists.
