The July Game of the Month presented by Intersync Video Productions will feature the Kelowna Raiders and Armstrong Shamrocks in Game 1 of the Shaw Cup final on Tuesday night. The Raiders are the defending champs and finished the regular season on Friday night, beating the Shamrocks 11-5. Players from Mosquito to Midget will complete in the tournament coming from the Coast, the Interior and even Alberta. The camp runs from August 2-5, with the players completing in the 2014 U18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup from August 11-16. Falcons Raise $21,000

A terrific crowd at Elks Stadium was treated to fireworks, an amazing marching band and even dancing firefighters on Thursday night. The Kelowna Falcons hosted the 3rd Annual Firefighters Night that included all ticket sales and sponsorship money being donated to the Professional Firefighters Charitable Society.  Over $21,000 was raised and donated on Thursday night, raising a three year total to over $71,000. Canada Day Baseball Blast

The four team tournament will feature the Jays, Okanagan Athletics, Calgary Diamondbacks and Prince George Axemen each playing a minimum of five games.
