Sun Backfield Gets Boost

The Okanagan Sun are extremely excited to announce that running back Armand Bokitch will return to the club following his national championship season with Butte College. Bokitch played with the Sun in 2010 and 2011 amassing 1.145 yards on 181 carries and scored 10 touchdowns.  He also caught 18 passes for 270 yards and three majors. The camp runs from August 2-5, with the players completing in the 2014 U18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup from August 11-16. Immaculata Mustangs coach Brian Drosdovech was been named the Central Okanagan High School Coach of the Year after gathering 48% of the votes. Drosdovech's senior girls volleyball team won the Valley championships, then went on to finish with a silver medal at the Provincials.
