Then at 7:12 in the third period Rusnack scored his second of the night and the Chiefs tied up the game, forcing the overtime period.

A penalty in the extra period would give the Chiefs the man advantage and they didn’t waste is as Cyra scored with 55 seconds remaining to win the game 5-4.  Four of Kelowna’s goals were on the power play Saturday night.

Kevin Roth would earn the star of the game award for Kelowna with a four point game thanks to four assists.  For Columbia Valley it was Doan Smith who netted two goals in the second period plus picked up an assist.
