The West Coast League has announced their “All-WCL Teams” for the 2013 season.

The lone Kelowna Falcon to crack the list is Grayson Porter, who was named to the Second Team All-WCL roster.

Porter would set two new single season team records, for at bats (196) and hits (61).  He would also lead the club with four homeruns, 29 RBIs and 35 runs scored in 49 games.

He was named to the WCL All Star Game in July and represented the Falcons in the Homerun Derby.  He was also named the Falcons “Most Outstanding Player” this season.

Porter now heads back to Baylor University to prepare for his senior season.

Jarryd Klemm received an “honourable mention” from the WCL.  He would hit .353 with 47 hits, 13 doubles, three homers and 29 RBIs.

The WCL Champion Corvallis Knights placed seven players on the All-WCL team, while head coach Brooke Knight was named the Coach of the Year for the fourth time.

Bellingham Bells slugger Alex Calbick was named the WCL MVP, who also captured the batting crown with a .384 average.
