Introducing Watters Warriors

Posted in Featured, Game Of The Month

RyanWatters.ca and Intersync Video Productions is proud to announce the new “Watters Warriors” program to coincide with the “2013 Game of the Month.”

“Watters Warriors” is presented by McDonalds, Wild Play Kelowna, Scotiabank and Big Kahuna.

The program will invite five kids from the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club along with their parent/guardian to every game (different kids each game) that is highlighted as the “Game of the Month.”  Each child along with their parent/guardian receives front row tickets and a welcome package at the game.  The kids welcome package will include a complimentary t-shirt courtesy of Big Kahuna along with the goodies from McDonalds, Wild Play Kelowna, Scotiabank and tickets to a West Kelowna Warriors game.

“I’m happy that the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club have agreed to partner and introduce my program,” stated Watters.  “I love what the Game of the Month has done for the teams we’ve highlighted and this new program will give even more people a chance to enjoy the games, from the front row.  Having terrific partners like McDonalds, Wild Play Kelowna, Scotiabank and Big Kahuna shows their commitment to youth in our community and giving kids an opportunity to see a live sporting event.  I think it’s going to be fun for everyone involved.”

The 2013 “Game of the Month” schedule has been increased to highlight two games each month and is temporary completed.  The schedule will not be finalized until team schedules have been released, specifically those teams that compete in that latter part of the year.

The January “Games of the Month” will be highlighted on Saturday January 19 as the UBC Okanagan Heat volleyball teams welcome in the University of Calgary.  The second game will feature a local high school basketball tilt as the Mount Boucherie Bears host the Rutland Voodoos on Tuesday January 22.
