Kelowna Volleyball Club’s KAPOW U18 boys went 6-0 on route to their first ever Provincial club gold medal championship.
The road to get there was a little bumpy at times but the boys showed true grit when needed most in a terrific come from behind victory in the final. The team trailed 1-7 in the third set before the rally began. They tied the game at 10-10. The final five points were as exciting as they could be with spectacular defense, hitting and timely blocking. With victory secured on a Devon Cote smash at 15-13 it was lights out and the celebration began.
