48 senior boys volleyball teams from across BC will come to Kelowna as of Wednesday.  The City will play host to the 2012 Provincial Championships for the AAA, AA and A divisions, a tradition that dates back to 1994.

A number of Okanagan teams will compete in the three levels.  In the AAA division Kelowna Senior Secondary, Penticton Senior Secondary and Mt Boucherie Secondary will compete, while in the AA division Okanagan Mission will host and will compete against 15 other teams including George Elliot Secondary and CL Fulton Secondary in Vernon.  This will be the second year that Kelowna will host the A division as well, with three Okanagan teams competing including Kelowna Christian, Vernon Christian and Immaculata.

Action begins on Wednesday afternoon with six Kelowna schools hosting games.
