The Chiefs Move to Second Round
Posted in Featured, SportsAfter defeating the first place Osoyoos Coyotes in six games, the Kelowna Chiefs are on their way to round two in the KIJHL playoffs.
The #4 Chiefs will face-off against the #2 Princeton Posse who beat out the Penticton Lakers in the first round.
Kelowna and Princeton met eight times during the regular season with the Posse winning six of those matches.
Game 1 between the two teams takes place Tuesday March 6th, at 7PM in Princeton.

Game 3: Friday March 9th, 7PM in Kelowna
Game 4: Saturday March 10th, 7PM in Kelowna

Kelowna Chiefs Captain Dane Rupert currently leads the KIJHL in points during the playoffs. Rupert has 7 goals and 7 assists for a total of 14 points.
Also on the scoring leaders list is Brent Lashuk who is tied for 7th place in the KIJHL for scoring. Lashuk has 12 points so far this playoff series with 6 goals and 6 assists.
