UBCO Will Be “Buzz”ing

Local and talented basketball player Buzz Truss has committed to stay home after graduating from KSS to attend UBC Okanagan in the fall.

Truss, who helped KSS win another Valley Championship this past season, has a knack for being in the right place at the right time as a versatile forward who can rebound, score and play a solid defense.

He will join a growing list of local talent that has decided on staying close to home and play for the Heat.  KSS grad Mitch Goodwin has become one of the best players in Canada West, KCS grad Ryan Linttell had a number of other options but elected to stay in Kelowna and Greet Gill from South Okanagan Secondary has showed he belongs at the Canada West level.
